The Traditional Bhutanese Wedding tour package provides our client an opportunity to experience a local wedding in Bhutan. The wedding ceremony featuring a number of religious rites performed by Buddhist monks and lamas. Traditional Your wedding can be a combination of spiritual Bhutanese rites and western elements such as ring exchange, or more elaborate local features such as masked dances, archery, offering of butter-lamps, and special fertility blessings. This tour also includes visits to the western valleys of Paro, Punakha, and Thimphu. This includes visiting ancient fortresses, temples, monasteries, farmhouses, and meeting with the locals in rural villages.

DAY 1:

The great snow-capped peaks of the inner Himalayas rise up to the heavens can be seen during clear weather. As the plane approaches Bhutan, if you look down farmhouses as dots on the hillsides can be seen. In the evening stroll through Paro town and visit local shops. Overnight at Paro

DAY 2:

After Breakfast visit Kichu temple, one of the 108 temples built in the 7th century by the Tibetan King Songsten Gampo. Visit Drugyel Dzong. You may drive to Thimphu for shopping (Traditional Bhutanese costumes for the wedding) or other Gifts. Check the arrangements for the Wedding for the next day. Evening Rest and Hot stone bath at a Farm house.

DAY 3:

Today the wedding ceremony will commence in typical Bhutanese Buddhist traditional in elaborate decorations. The marriage will commence in the Alter presided by the Lama & all guests will also be present in the alter room. Traditional Bhutanese mask dancers will organize a cultural function and others events will be organized throughout the day. Overnight in hotel.

DAY 4:

After leisure morning, start your journey to the capital city of Bhutan after your breakfast. Drive will be for an hour and on the way stop by to take pictures and continue your drive to Thimphu. Your car will be decorated in Bhutanese Traditional way to notice by the local of wedding. You will be receive at the hotel in Traditional way and leisure afternoon. Honeymoon evening Dinner will be serve and the bed will be decorated with flowers and traditional paintings. Over night in Thimphu.

DAY 5:

After breakfast, travel through upper Punakha valley through the village of Kabjisa and walk through farmhouses to khamsum Yuelley Namgyel temple which was built by the queen of Bhutan for peace and stability in this ever-changing world. This temple is situated on the hillock overlooking the valley below. You may make visit to Punakha Dzong and Chimi Lhakhang. Overnight at Punakha

DAY 6:

After breakfast drive to Thimphu. Visit sites in and around Thimphu. Stroll around town for shopping in the local market & dinner at a Local restaurant. Overnight in Thimphu

DAY 7:

After breakfast, drive to Paro which takes about an hour and hike up to Taktsang Monastery/ ‘Tiger’s Nest’. The climb up to the viewpoint will take around 1 ½ hours and from there you will enjoy a spectacular view of the monastery clinging to the side of the cliff. Stop for refreshment at the View Point Cafeteria Overnight at hotel.

DAY 8: Departure

In the morning tour guide from Adventure Trekking Club will escort you to the Paro airport for your flight to your onward destinations.
